Meet the Twiggs

It's no surprise there are a lot of issues with the construction industry. From poor planning to cost overruns to lousy communication, there's undoubtedly room for improvement. That's where the Twiggs come in.

Co-Owner, Nick Twigg, knows of these inefficiencies all too well, as he has spent over 15 years working for both BC and Alberta construction companies, including Compass Energy Systems, Integral Energy Services, Suncor, and CNRL, where he worked as an instrumentation technician and electrician. He worked on some of Canada's most innovative energy projects and oversaw the completion of many. Most recently, he converted high-rise offices into residential living in Edmonton, Alberta.

When the COVID-19 pandemic surfaced and impacted the construction industry, Nick saw an opportunity to live and construct differently, by working for himself and starting a business. Who better to take this leap with him than his wife, a Bachelor of Commerce Management grad. 

Alycia Twigg, co-owner, has seamlessly integrated her academic strengths with her professional experiences. She has driven change in various industries, such as pharmacy, technology, logistics, and, most recently, construction. Her diverse skillset lends to her meaningful impact when engaging and communicating with clients and subcontractors. She's excited to lead Twigg Transformations and the male-dominated construction industry differently.

With Nick's construction expertise and Alycia's management background, the pair have proven their capabilities by completing over 50 construction projects and 3 major renovations since 2021.
